Heavy sulfur smell and the environment is all volcanic rock. No trees but lots of moss. Gives you the impression you are on the moon (or in Jurassic Park) with the first attractions separated by lonely long narrow wet roads. Heavy winds and cold drizzle so far today. Very much looking forward to warm pools, but first... breakfast buffet with the most delicious salmon and dill.
